Frequently Arf-ed Questions

We use organic, all-natural, and human-grade ingredients to bake our treats. We do not and never will use harmful or toxic ingredients or preservatives. Our dog treats also do not contain any artificial flavoring, added salt, or added sugar - the only sugar used in the treats are from the organic fruit and honey that we use. Our icing is based on dehydrated yogurt with natural colors from fruits/vegetables. 

Where are your treats made?

The treats at Pup & Pop Bakeshop are handmade in a health-department-certified commercial kitchen in Costa Mesa, CA.

How long do your treats last?

Due to lack of preservatives, our treats are perishable. Each pouch and box that the treats come in will have an expiration date that we recommend your pups consume before. Please see the following for timeframes of each treat type. 

Biscuits: Our biscuits can stay fresh for up to 8 weeks in an airtight container. Want to keep them longer? Freeze 'em! We recommend freezing the biscuits in a freezer bag for up to 3 months and defrosting them in the fridge. 

Cakes & Ruffins: Our cakes and ruffins stay fresh for up to 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. Please do not leave let them sit at room temperature unless ready to consume due to drying out and bacteria growth (our icing for cakes are yogurt based). You can freeze the ruffins/cake for up to one month. For best results, we recommend cutting into smaller pieces, wrapping in plastic wrap and sealing in a freezer bag. 

Froyo Pops: Our froyo-pops can stay fresh for up to 1 month in the freezer. 

Do you use artificial food coloring?

Nope! We only use colors from dry powders sourced from the following fruits and vegetables: 

My dog has allergies, what can I do?

Have no fear! We want all pups to enjoy our goodies and will be more than happy to make adjustments to the recipe.

Please email us at woof@pupandpopbakeshop.com with any allergies your pup may have and we can substitute ingredients in the recipe.

Do you ship or deliver your treats?

For biscuits and ruffins, we provide shipping, delivery, or pick-up. For cakes, due to their fragile nature, we can deliver them only.

Deliveries are available in Ladera Ranch, Rancho Mission Viejo, Mission Viejo, and parts of Irvine.

When should I place my order?

We recommend placing your order a week ahead of when you want to pick up the order.

We recommend placing your order ahead of time as it may take up to 2-3 business days to process (this does not include shipping time as applicable).

Please have a look our current cake designs with more on the way. We recommend placing cake orders 1 week ahead of when you want to receive them.
